What's one family recipe that you wish you knew how to cook?
Well it sure isn't "Cheap and Chic" meatballs, I'll tell you that. No frigging way.
I am changing the QotD to "What family dish was your personal hell as a chlild???"
Your thoughts??
What is your current obsession(s)?

Learning to bake (as opposed to cook which I am pretty all right at.) but how will this jibe with my blog, which tells me "DON'T EAT FATTY FOODS!!'
Baking means butter is always near. Oh sweet butter.
You know, in Grade Two I knew this girl named Donna - I didn't know her well as she was very tall and thus somewhat unpopular - who claimed she could eat a huge spoonful of butter all on its own. Not as a dare, but for the love of butter. Now, I love butter, but that sort of butter lovin' seems wrong.
And speaking of lovin'....yesterday as I exited the house to take the dog to the park, I hear a great squeaky commotion. Looking above me, I saw a squirrel fight. I love a good squirrel scrap, so I tried to keep up with them (visually, of course) as they whizzed from branch to branch, and up and down the trunks.
"That's quite the kerfuffle!" I thought, noticing that they seemed to be shrieking a little louder than normal. It's a comon occurence chez Peanut to hear the squirrels mixing it up outside and then the "tunk-a-tunk-a-tunk-a-tunk" as they streak across the roof. Then I thought, "that's a big squirrel..." only to realise it was not one large squirrel but two squirrels, sort of stuck together and still whizzing about the branches, shrieking.
Then it clicked. That wasn't a squirrel fight. They were gettin' it ON.
So that's how it works in the squirrel world? Fast, mobile, shrieky sex?
Squirrel experts, please discuss.
What's your favorite blend or brand of coffee or tea?
IN the spirit of trying new things at my new blog lcoation...
A local company, JavaBlend, they roast their own and have a fair trade Sumatran dark roast that is full of roasty goodness. Oh roastiness!
